Senior Software Engineer - Product Oriented (m/w/d)

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just write code, but drives problems to resolution.

You’ll work across the stack, but more importantly, you’ll:

• take problems and make them concrete

• collaborate closely with product and other engineers

• ship things that actually work in production

Roadmap for your first 6 months:

• By first month:

  • Getting deeper knowledge of our products and codebase

  • Getting to know about our processes

  • Contributing to the first improvements and helping out the team with the new features

  • Deploying your first code changes

  • Integrating with the team and the company
    
    

• By third month:

  • Developing whole features independently

  • Suggesting improvements in the code base and processes

  • Coming up with the new ideas in our domain and communicating them

  • Actively working with Product team
    
    

• By fifth month:

  • Deep understanding of our existing projects

  • Fixing the issues on production

  • Deploying the whole project from scratch

  • Suggesting architectural changes and improvements

  • Discussing and guiding others in finding a better solution

• Ownership mindset: take responsibility for outcomes and drive work forward without waiting for direction.
• Clarity through reasoning: bring structure to ambiguity, break down problems, and make sense of complexity.
• Pragmatic decision-making: apply sound judgment, balance trade-offs, and focus on what works in reality.
• Adaptive execution: stay effective under changing constraints and adjust approach as needed.

• Good Cloud and Infrastructure as Code knowledge, preferably AWS and CloudFormation.

• Good knowledge of architectural patterns and practices. We use serverless architecture wherever possible.

• Expertise in producing maintainable and pragmatic code regardless of programming language. Proficiency in either TypeScript or Python is a must.

• AI tools for coding and product development are second nature for you by now.

• Full responsibility over the solution. We practice YBIYRI (You-Build-It-You-Run-It) engineering culture.
• German conversational skills are a plus

You don’t need to know everything above, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and making decisions in unfamiliar areas.

• Technical interview [90-120 min]: whiteboard interview on concrete problems (not algorithms) to see how you are thinking and not only how you are writing code.

• Interview with Product [30 min]: you get to meet our Product team and talk about business ideas.
